Name of Allah As-Salam
1- Meanings and Denotations of Allah's Name: As-Salam
1- Allah is As-Salam (The One Free from Defect, The Giver of Peace and Safety) in Essence.
Allah's Messenger, Peace Be upon Him said:
"Allaahumma anta al-salaam wa minka al-salaam, tabaarakta yaa dhaa’l-jalaali wa’l-ikraam" (O Allah, You are As-Salaam [the One Who is free from all defects and deficiencies) and from You is all peace, blessed are You, O possessor of majesty and honor
Muslim Sahih, 592
2- His attributes are all clear of any imperfection, unlike his creation.
Allah The Almighty showers His worshippers who have sound hearts (who do good deeds) with peace in their religion and admits them into the Abode of Peace in the Hereafter, i.e. Paradise where there is neither vices nor evil of any kind.
- The Giver of Peace (As-Salam) calls His worshippers to enter – The Abode of Peace – Paradise.
The Almighty says
And Allah invites to the Home of Peace…

But He guides whom He wills.
The Almighty says
…and guides whom He wills to a straight path
Younes: 25
- The Almighty greets the people of Paradise, where they are safe from any harm as it is the place of peace and safety.
Almighty Allah says
And Peace," a word from a Merciful Lord.
Yaseen: 25
He also says
: Their greeting the Day they meet Him will be, "Peace." And He has prepared for them a noble reward.
Al-Ahzab: 44
- Peace is an attribute of Allah's "Essence" and "Action" towards the believers.
Worshipping Allah by His Name As-Salam (The Giver Peace):
- 1-The Muslim has to call on His Lord As-Salam to give him a heart free from desires and doubts, the desire to sin and the doubt of joining partners with Allah.
- 2-The Muslim has to keep his body safe and healthy to be strong to fulfill the obligations of the religion.
- 3-He has to keep his bothers safe, the first thing to do is not to cause any harm to anybody.
- 4-The Muslims has to start by spreading the greeting of Islam among them, which is peace.
- 5-Then they should spread peace all over the world and this cannot be fulfilled without spreading Islam.
- 6-Muslims has to send peace and blessings on Allah's Messenger a lot for the great rewards and benefit.
Almighty Allah says
The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children. But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart
As-Shu'ra: 88-8
- -A heart free from whims and what they lead to such as sins, transgressions and evil which defile the heart.
- -A heart free from deceit, hatred, envy and all the devious inclinations a person may feel towards others.
- -A heart free from lust, i.e. corruption in seeking pleasure.
- -A heart free from doubt, i.e. corruption in belief.Almighty Allah says
"Allah and His angels bless the Prophet – so, you who believe, bless him too and give him greetings of peace
